- 1984 -

Inception of Tornado HVAC Trucks.
With humble beginnings, emereged what has now become, a global player in the Hydrovac industry.

- 2005 -

Top Gun Boom
Our new "top gun" boom design replaced a side boom design to increase mobility and operational efficiencies.

- 2012 -

A Standardized Design
We optimized production efforts to supply growing demand. Moving from the roots blowers to the Robushi product line.

- 2015 -

Eco Product Launch
The Eco tank design is a revolutionary, light-weight design offering vastly greater fuel-economy and on site performance.

- 2016 -

Designed for Performance
A new tank improves weight distribution, as the third-generation Cyclone design increases efficiencies and a sloped tank floor improves load dumping.

- 2017 -

Technology Driven Design
A new Eco-lite tank shaves 4000lbs as a new boom design replaces the "top gun", and rear door locking mechanisms are introduced for safety.

- 2020 -

New Production & Service Facilities
Tornado acquires a new production facility in Red Deer AB, Canada, dramatically scaling production capabilities to support business growth.

- 2025 -

Tornado Acquires Custom Vac Services
Tornado acquires a specialized truck design and manufacturing company in Nisku Alberta, expanding Tornado's fleet of specialized truck equipment solutions.

- 2025 -

The Toro Company Acquires Tornado
The Toro Company acquires Tornado Infrastructure Equipment to compliment the success and growth experienced in the Construction Division.
