What are Hydrovac trucks, what are these trucks used for, and how do they work? Simply put, Hydrovacs breaks down soil and other compact media using high pressure water. The compact media is then vacuumed from the dig hole, back into the truck's holding tank. This ensures safe, zero contact excavation of media surrounding submerged infrastructure.
Risks to human safety and damage to submerged infrastructure is the primary reason why hydrovac trucks are preferred over conventional excavation equipment. In fact, industry and municipal governments are increasingly requiring that hydrovacs be used for excavation, to avoid costly damage to gas, utility, and fiber optic lines as well as other critical infrastructure.
Whether you need to remain agile in the downtown or maximize your hauling capacity in remote work sites, we design and manufacture Hydrovac trucks to meet the use case needs of all our customers. So, choose the model that's right for you.
